After World War 2 ended in 1945, a Japanese officer named Hiroo Onoda didn't surrender and continued the war for 29 years because he didn't know that Japan had surrendered and the war was over.

Surprise Presentation Day...

Today we briefly shared our Antisemitism write ups and went over the Germany-USSR battle and Pearl Harbor in Global Forces. We also read about the Battle of Atlantic.
Then we picked our topics for Wednesday's presentation and had time to work on our song assignment.

Homework for tonight: Read the Holocaust section on page 130-131 and answer questions 8-10 on page 138 in Global Forces.

Other Assignments:
Due this Wednesday- Another short write-up and presentation.
Due March 30th - Song Assignment!
