Hey guys,
Year End Notes are here to save the day.
I said I would post the answers to the last multiple choice handout, but I have decided against it. Use your textbook to search for answers and if you are really stuck and just want to know the answer to a certain question drop by my class today or tomorrow before the exam or drop me an email.
Don't forget to bring in your textbooks when you write the final. I will also be giving you back your essays.
Your marks are up to date on Engrade now.
Study well my friends! Its almost over.

I post; therefore I am!
We finished chapter 16: Eastern European countries said 'Enough, already!', With nobody left to boss around the Soviet Union said, 'Meh, we quit too!'. And that was the end of Communism. (in a nut shell- the tiniest of tiny nut shells).
No, but really, you probably won't even be looking at this tonight as you have bigger things going on like wearing a tassle and traipsing across a stage.
But should you happen to peek on this site for the last time or so, you will see that you have one more case study to complete. You know who you are:
Jordan p 298
Curtis p 299
Colleen p 302
Taylor p 308
These are all due tomorrow.
There will be a powerpoint and review.
Essays have been marked and will be handed back and your mark for your oral reporting will also be given.

The Final Push
I apologize for not blogging on Friday when
I was supposed to. We spent Friday’s class watching a movie (The Corporation) and then going over the
reading at the beginning of Chapter 16. For homework please read the section
called “1989 Revolution”. We do have class tomorrow in which we are expected to
hand in our essays on the People’s Republic of China. Also, Friday was the last
day for Locobucks so you can no longer get any new ones. If you were not here
on Friday, hand in those tomorrow. Finally, the case studies for Chapter 16 are
all due on Tuesday so if you were assigned one have it done for then. Have a
good Sunday!

Yay Chapter 13 Test!
So today we took our chapter 13 test which
was sweet. Then we talked a bit about the format of our next unit about China.
We will be doing an essay and Mrs. Loconte handed out those topics today. We
will also be doing some outside research on the chapter which we will start
tomorrow in the library. I think that we decided that this wouldn't be for
marks. I don’t think that there is any homework for tonight so enjoy!
