The Day We Had a Boy/Girl Seating Plan

What did we do today?

Today, we recapped the First World War with focus on whether Germany was at fault, the western and eastern fronts, and a recap of the homework we had.

What should you do tonight?

Read page 56- the top of 59 in the viewpoints textbook.

Nicole- you have a presentation tomorrow.

Why is history so cool?

Because in 1838, General Antonio López de Santa Anna (President of Mexico) had his leg amputated after his ankle was destroyed by canon-fire. He ordered a full military burial for it.

  2. Speaking of Military Burials...

I found this website that answers all your questions (Levi) about where the dead were buried after/ during WWI.

    http://www.greatwar.co.uk/article/ww1-war-graves.htm

I highly suggest you check it out. Not in a cuz-it's-on-the-test kind of way, but because, as Sonya said, "History is cool."
