Serenade Me

Yes, I FINALLY remembered to blog. It’s been a while. I’ve resorted to setting alarms on my ipod to remind me, but hey, it works so I’ll go with it. Today’s class began nervously as we prepared to present our songs. Bianca and I went first singing as song about the Battle of the Atlantic to Yellow Submarine by the Beatles. Jordan, Jan, and Taylor’s group presented next with Jordan and Jan rapping a song about the bombing of Pearl Harbour to the tune of I have no idea. They were complete with body art including tears, and I quote Jordan, for “the dead homies”. The songs were great. We still have yet to hear Curtis’ song which is supposedly to Skyfall by Adele. We’re looking forward to it Curtis! We then reviewed the section on the organs of the UN and the peacekeeping missions. I did a case study on former Secretary-General Kofi Annan and presented an example of real politik from who else, but North Korea. We do not have homework except for those of you who didn’t finish yesterday’s, you know who you are. Oh, but don’t forget to study for a quiz that we have tomorrow on the organs of the UN. Taylor also has a case study tomorrow on refugees. Friday there will be a quiz on the three peacekeeping missions of the UN that we read about and on Monday there will be one on the remained of the chapter.
